"Gorgeous hotel with ample amounts of charm. The location is excellent for exploring Tuscany and Florence. It has every bit the look and feel of a five star hotel that costs hundreds of dollars more. That being said, it lacks the touches of a true luxury hotel. Bath amenities were scarce (no conditioner, bath wash, or wash cloths provided and the hair dryer was one you would find in a cheap motel) the lack of power outlets also made the room challenging. "Like all of the reviews available this property overall was great. The rooms and bathrooms are on the small side and could do with a paint: however the rooms are still comfortable. I had a room with a balcony and it was amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset from there. The staff were all kind and helpful and the communal areas and breakfast area were great. Plenty of breakfast options to choose from. My recommendation is to have a car (where possible) as taxi from Poggibonsi train station...

"Lovely large rustic traditional rooms in stunning Tuscan countryside setting. Handy location for visiting the many local historic villages & towns of the area. Excellent breakfast with a large variety of choices & will cook eggs to your order. Lovely swimming pool in the grounds & on-site restaurant. The added benefit was that our 2no dogs were allowed to stay in the hotel"

"The best about this property is location!!! Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a good overall stay."

"The air conditioning was very poor, the room was like a sauna, we had to get up at 2am and open the door as it was too hot to sleep. No window in the room to let air in. The rest of the property was fantastic, the restaurant food excellent too."

"When I arrived at the hotel that was booked and confirmed through Expedia, I was told that my reservation had not been booked and that the hotel was full. Luckily the hosts booked me another hotel so that I did not spend the night in my car! I will NEVER use Expedia again since I have already emailed them about this problem and they haven't even gotten back to me!"
