"We had an executive room, which was a fantastic size. There was a lounge area, a good size desk, bathroom had a bath with a powerful shower and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a minibar in the room, an ironing board and iron and reasonable wardrobe space if you were staying for any period of time. "Entering it and the bar area are lovely. The rooms are very dated and small compared to other hotels in the area. Bed I thought was very hard and pillows far too soft! Also, you can't use contactless payment for the pre-authorisation and as I had no physical card on me, they sent a link for a a pre-auth of £250. If you have a physical card, it's £50. Very dated way of doing things."

"Pretty good overall. Breakfast especially good and room comfortable. Main downside was the bathroom which looked old and tatty especially the silicone sealant. Toilet constantly running. Sink tap constantly leaking from handle and occasionally making a loud vibrating noise which could also be heard coming from other rooms. Shower good though. But liquid soap and shampoo poor quality and nozzles don't screw properly into bottles and don't pump properly. No sound proofing against corridor noise...
