"Had a lovely weekend, great food "

"As much as we enjoyed our stay ..room was dusty and foul smell from drainage in bathroom ..this was dealt with quickly ..furniture ..decor tired and outdated .. Staff were all very pleasant ..mannerable ..and worked hard Pool has been the same for years and years ..property just needs some money spent on an upgrade in order to justify the cost of rooms etc Food was delicious "

"Staff and public areas were excellent and very comfortable. Unfortunately the grounds are in need of TLC which is a shame. The hire of a skip for a day to remove all the rubbish and fishing debris would help. The bedroom accommodation needs a lot of paintwork and updating. I've slept in more comfortable beds in Premier Inns! Housekeeping was a bit erratic. The quality of the food at breakfast was mediocre. However it's perfect for dogs and the staff were great."

"Arrived on Friday night, late for checking in and dinner, he asked the kitchen and we were able to dine, Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast was amazing, we both had the Full Breakfast, between the accommodation/staff and food the weekend stay was amazing and will be booking again, last but not least the price for the weekend was very reasonable "

"Great food in charming hotel. Would have awarded 5 stars if hotel did not continue to run out of certain items on menu/bar. Also breakfast service was not great on first day as waiting ages for order without tea coffee delivered , waitress was unwell but when paying top dollar for food an lodging I expected premium service."
