"Lovely hotel, the breakfast was great and there are nice walks close by. The hotel bar had a nice atmosphere and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and bar staff all very nice. £30 additional charge for a small dog to stay only 1 night, while the dog was very welcome and accommodated for this seems excessive compared to other hotels. I believe the charge is the same regardless of nights stayed but feel this could be lowered if only staying a single night. There is little...

"Lodge room was very comfortable, clean. Bit of a walk to get to restaurant from it if you want to have a drink first or have mobility issues. But top marks to hotel reception they organised a pick up from room & back when finished by a very pleasant & helpful young man called Pete. Only issue was my steak at dinner, it wasn't good & don't think it was rump either as said on menu Other than that food very good"
