"The hotel is lovely and the staff were friendly. The room was large, clean and comfortable. It had no windows, I'm guessing because we were on a lower floor, but that didn't bother us. As with a lot of hotels in the US, it is quite noisy in the room. We were opposite the lifts (elevators!) and heard all the conversations of everyone all night (very clearly!) and the dings as the lift arrived - so wasn't the best nights sleep. A lot of hotels in the US seem to be like this and have poor noise...

"Don’t usually enjoy treating ourselves to a hotel of this caliber and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Restaurant food was far better than we expected and we enjoyed the roof top bar - especially during the stormy weather. Wish the bar music downstairs foyer was not so loud. We would not and did not enjoy a drink in the downstairs bar as a result. "
