Room smelled horribly of sewage & only got to take lule warm showers as there was no hot water. Both issues were brought to the attention of the front desk, they sent a maintenance man up who said “unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’ve seen this” shrugged his shoulders & left! The only positives I can say about our stay was that it was very clean & good location. The rest of the experience was awful.

The hotel itself was beautiful and clean. The beds were okay and little too hard for our comfort. It would’ve been nice to have clearer expectations of the parking situation. It wasn’t very clear until we arrived at the hotel and the front desk staff weren’t very helpful on explaining parking. Also the communication sent to us about extra amenities didn’t match up with the schedule the hotel had provided. Example, rooftop bar being open or happy hour being at a certain time when we arrived to the hotel the rooftop bar was closed and happy hour was at a completely different time. The hotel staff at the bar was wonderful and friendly. Valet staff was also amazing!

The hotel and staff were outstanding, but I didn’t get any sleep while we were there. The first 3 nights there was loud music playing until after 2am. The bedding was good, but just not my preference. The pillows were really hard, and the duvet cover was not thick enough to be considered a blanket, which was expected since it was below 30°F each night. Hot chocolate in the lobby each night and very accommodating staff saved this experience.

I liked how close Broadway was to The Holston house but removed enough from the busyness of Broadway. 2 complainants. 1. The parking service listed on the website does not tell you it's valet parking that is offered by a company not affiliated with Holston House. There is a QR code that you have to use to tip the valet and pay for the parking with a service fee added onto it every time you use it. When we called for our car and were outside at the valet stand, no one was there. We had to set all our baggage on the sidewalk trying to figure out this QR code to tip. After about 5 minutes, a valet came out to tell us we had not paid for the parking yet. We thought the charge was going to be included in the hotel bill. There is nothing on Holston House website that gives this information and nothing on the valet stand or vacinity telling guests hiw this works. 2. It sounded like the fast and the furious was being filmed outside our hotel from around 10p through 3a every 30 minutes. The hemi, souped up engines, and what sounded like a motorcycle echoed off the buildings what seemed like all night! That was not the hotels fault and im not sure which street this was taking place but I felt like there was such a police and security presence on Broadway that there was no reason why this noise went on as long and as offten as it did.

Just the small quiet place to call home while we explored Nashville for a few days. Nothing over the top but needs perfectly met. Super accessible to Broadway, etc.
