"Absolutely loved out stay here. The bed was super comfortable, staff were friendly and efficient and as a bonus there was a snack box and fridge on the landing with biscuits and drinks etc in case you needed anything. Highly recommend 😁"

"There was plenty of parking. You have to record your registration number at reception to avoid a charge. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to room 4. The room was quite large and was well appointed, however, despite the radiator being on, the room was very cold and unwelcoming. When we returned after our meal in the bar, the room was still very cold and remained so throughout our stay. The bathroom was also very chilly. I mentioned this when we checked out. "The room was clean, pleasant and ready on time. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and decently sized. We stayed in Room 1. The room is painted in dark colours which were modern and nice but with the lighting I couldn’t see anything up close in the mirrors. It was dark for applying any make-up. "

"I think its my 3rd visit to the Windmill The floorboards are creaky, the phone signal is really awful. (But that does have a positive, no disturbances) Its a lovely little place to stay! The staff are fantastic. It's spotlessly clean. The restaurant is great, too much choice and very, very tasty. Although it's right on the A19 its peacefully quiet. A cracking little place that's quirky and does exactly what is says on the tin. Cheap n cheerful 😊 "

"First off the owners when contacted were lovely. The place itself could be beautiful but does look slightly run down. The room the granary was gorgeous inside with no issues. The outside "private" hot tub area looked a little worse for wear. Fence leaning over, looked like it needed a lot of TLC and is not private at all. Not inclosed, could see people walking past where it looks like a gate was needed and there was metal stairs going upstairs which we wernt sure where they went. The hot tub...
