"Good for the cost though seemed slightly understaffed over the Christmas period perhaps. Gym and pool area decent, nice staff across site. Needs a little spruce up of exterior and recycling bins as an improvement. "

"The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. In November 2024 it was still undergoing renovations which made it noisy during the day and much equipment and fences outside the building. The breakfast is good. Great for cruise ship passengers but don't try to walk to the dock, take a taxi."

The parking situation is awful, we stayed 6 nights, and were in and out whilst staying and spent what seemed like ages driving around the one way system going from one car park to another trying to find space (each time you tried either the top or bottom car park it was another loop around the whole of the city centre!) "Loved the rooms, though the shower fitting was a bit loose and the rainfall shower went over the top of the shower cubicle making the floor wet. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but that's my preference for a soft mattress. But it was very clean and a sociable hub of activities - just a shame it's in the middle of nowhere we had to get cabs everywhere "
