"We stayed at (2) resort locations on Nassau: Harborside Atlantis (Paradise Island) and Sandyport Beach Resort. If we were visiting again, we would select Sandyport over Atlantis because of the people who worked at the resort. Our room was large, clean, and AC worked well. The room, and parts of the resort, are for sure slightly outdated, but that did not take away from the experience for us. We spent time at the pool/beach bar, which is very simple. But Bass, Kyle and Mrs. N made the experience personal and enjoyable. They seemed to genuinely appreciate that we were there. The front desk staff were welcoming and addressed any questions/concerns we had at any time. The surrounding area had some good food restaurants and a solid craft cocktail bar. "

"Beautiful facility! Staff was super friendly and accomodating! Convenient location - close to all that downtown Nassau has to offer. Truly a 5 star facility! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Due to the nature of my visit I had to stay several days at another hotel - once I got to British Colonial, I truly felt like I was on vacation! "

"The Happy colors and all the original Decor and property design . I didnt know the resort was cashless untiI I arrived, and I had brought spending money, and most of it I took back with me. Surprize! They held $200 each day on my credit card, total of $800, because I spent 4 nights there and most of it was spent on drinks from the bar, the gift shop for souvenirs, and the restaurants I ate at, If your credit cards are not up to par you may be in for a rude awakening, especially since I had already charged the vacation on another card. So beware and make sure your credit cards are ready. Other than that, the place is Beautiful, and I will return, much wiser! "

"The rooms and the property are very clean. I did a late check-in and had trouble getting in my room-even with after hr number-it was difficult to reach anyone. There is heavy construction going on next door so rooms #14 and #15 will be disturbed during the day with drilling and other noise. Best part is it is located right across from the beach, and Nesbitts and another cute spot are all within walking distance. I would stay there again, but they need to work on communication. "
