"The main thing that stood out about the Sandyport Resort was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone greeted you with a smile. The resort was well looked after and clean. It’s well located too, being only 15 minutes from the airport, but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise. It’s also part of a wider resort area which includes multiple restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance. The children loved the amenities provided: the direct access to the beach, the swimming pools and water slides, the tennis court and the ponds full of fish to admire."

"We recently rented this lovely home in the Bahamas for a family vacation, and while we were excited about our stay, our experience was a mixed bag. The property itself is beautiful and boasts an ideal location, just a short walk from a grocery store and several restaurants, which made our stay convenient.However, we encountered several issues that affected our overall enjoyment. The house appeared to need significant repairs and maintenance, which detracted from the otherwise inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pool was quite dirty, rendering it unusable during our stay, which was disappointing as we had hoped to enjoy some relaxing time by the water.Additionally, while the private beach had potential, it was quite small, and we were unable to enjoy it due to high tide. We ended up walking to the nearby public beaches, which were nice but not what we had envisioned for our vacation.On a positive note, the property management staff was very nice and attentive, addressing our concerns with a friendly demeanor. Their hospitality was appreciated and made our experience more pleasant.Overall, while we had a good time, we were disappointed that we couldn't fully utilize all the amenities the house had to offer. With some attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this property could truly shine as a top vacation destination."

"We travelled to Nassau over Christmas of 2024 and had a wonderful holiday. The condo is in a fantastic location near the ocean on the north side of the island, close to the airport. Overall our stay was enjoyable, the Host was communicative and helpful prior to our arrival, offering information about the condo, and provided suggestions for activities, dining, etc. While there were many positives to our trip, and specifically our stay in this VRBO, it must be noted that this is clearly a holiday home for the Host, and seemingly none of the fixtures, finishes or fittings have been updated in the last 20 years. At the time of our booking the listing stated "luxury" and "gourmet", and while the space may have reflected this when it was initially built, it has not kept up with the times. The major and small kitchen appliances all appear to be original to the 1990's, the countertops are tile with dirt filled grout, and the cabinet doors are worn from years of use and exposure to humidity and salt air. The bedrooms are as shown in the photos, and we found the mattresses to be comfortable, though we would recommend bringing your own pillows. Also, as there were only four of us, the third bedroom was not made up, and the availability of bath towels, hand towels and face cloths were limited, though the Mgr helped us with the first two. Overall the condo is in a great location, and the space was usable and enjoyed, though not meeting today's standards of fit and finish."
