"I had stayed at a Daiwa Roynet before and didn't know what to expect. But, the hotel was really quite nice. The room was comfortable, though it lacked cupboard space, so you live out of your suitcase -- which I don't like. However, everything else was very good. The public bath was very lovely; the breakfast quite nice; housekeeping was excellent. All-in-all, great value for the money and convenient to the train station. Without hesitation, I would stay again. "

"I recently spent 3 nights at the Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan and loved it. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. The whole experience from the room to the food and onsen gave me a really good insight in to Japanese culture. Property is very central, close to old town and restaurants. "The hotel is about 10 mins drive from Toyama station. The hotel parking is 1500yen per night. Bed is comfy and rooms are decent in size however the hotel is a bit old. The room facing was the Toyama castle which is nice. Overall, a good experience."
