"Small room but comfortable with all features in ipad"

"I rented two rooms at the De Witt for my niece and for me. We were both quite pleased with all aspects of the hotel. In addition to the quality of the rooms and public spaces, the hotel has one of Amsterdam’s finest restaurants, Celia, and it’s location, close to Centraal Station and the Palace, is convenient, within walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s major attractions."

"This was a nice hotel, room was a bit small but well located. Construction outside replacing sidewalk did not create a noise issue, only some dust. Staff helpful and friendly. The power was out when we arrived but a staff member flipped the breaker and restored it quickly. "

"This hotel has a prime location, just steps from Amsterdam Central for train and tram stop and also stps from the boat docks and Damrak Street. Very nice hotel and rooms. The Concierge team is fantastic, knowledgeable and quite helpful. Good service overall. We did not have cable TV service for 2 days due to maintenance in the area, which was annoying. We had some issues with the laundry service as the first time we did not get our clothes on time. The second time they ruined one of my sweaters as all the decorations came off. The positive token is that the managers, Alexandra and the Greek young guy (can't remember his name) were very helpful and able to listen to our concerns and compensate us for the inconveniences. Great breakfast."
