"The Torbrau is a high class hotel without the high class prices. Perfectly located in a popular thoroughfare, not too far from Marienplatz and close to the Viktalianmarkt. In a 5 to 7 minute walk, you can cover the key sites of the old city of Munich. Excellent service and superb breakfast. This was our second time staying there and we will stay there again. Top rating."

"Great hotel with clean rooms . Staff were courteous . Breakfast was good with many options. Hotel location was close to train station to catch to go to central station or anywhere else. Location wise, we could not find lot of food options in the evening that were open."

"Advance check-in online was available and was very convenient. This property was perfect for a city break. The only draw back was that the standard rooms only have a double bed whereas I was looking for twin beds. This would have incurred an upgrade of 30Euros per night. That said, the double bed was huge and super comfortable so there was plenty room to avoid your room mate :-) Breakfast was 26Euros per sitting but it was fantastic and worth the money."

"when asked for a glass for wine, the employee says with a smile that they don't have any, and that there is a bar next to it and plenty of glasses. This is the first time in the whole of Europe that I have had such a situation."
