When we contacted the owner for check in instructions 1 hour prior to check in, he said he hadn't checked his email and never got our reservation. "Wir (3 Generationen) haben den Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Wir machen gerne Urlaub in der Nähe von Großstädten, suchen aber immer eine ruhige Lage zum entspannen, trotzdem mit Anbindung an den ÖPNV. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und wir hatten schon beim Kennenlernen viel Spaß miteinander. Bei Fragen und Problemen würde zeitnah reagier Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit."

"This place is in a great location on a train route to Munich (45 minutes to Marienplatz), or the other direction to Tutzing, which is a cute lake town worth visiting. Also situated a nice day trip away from Neuschwanstein. For Americans, take your power adapters, there were no USBs to plug into at the place. The dryer has a reservoir that collects water, that is different from American dryers, a tip if your clothes don't seem to be drying. We had fun playing the fussball game downstairs."

"Loved our stay in Bad Kohlgrub! This alpine chalet was exactly as described. Clean, modern, comfortable, and really allowed us to relax during our vacation! Quiet and quaint, yet had all the convenient touches such as fast wifi. The town is a very short drive away, and has some phenomenal restaurants to enjoy. Hope to come back again soon!"
