"Excellent location, less than 10 minute walk from station and very central for shops. My room was not overlooking main street, no noise at all from outside, even though Friday night and room was lovely and warm with adjustable radiator. Bed comfy and bathroom modern with lovely shower. Nice tea and coffee tray with hot chocolate and biscuits. "Our visit to Mellington Hall Country House Hotel was fantastic. The property is amazing, the staff were really attentive and amazing also. The food was superb and the service throughout was exceptional. After the meal we sat in the lovely building which has quiet rooms or an open fire. We went just before Christmas and so the property was probably quieter than during the summer months, but we definitely would return to enjoy walking in the surrounding countryside.
