It is rare these days that people offer to help you with your bags but Toby didn’t even ask, he just picked my bag up and said. ‘I’ll take you to your room ‘ lovely HOTEL and great stuff. I got there late so didn’t sample the food but it looked excellent and I will try and get there early next time."

"A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!"

Room was very well priced, somewhat dated though (decor, small TV, shower, etc) but clean, comfortable, complementary water/biscuits and a great view. Food was very good indeed, but heavily priced (e.g. £25.95 curry, £18.95 spaghetti Bolognese, £7.50 pint lager, £10.95 continental breakfast) - also watch out for the service charge when settling up.
