"The Hotel Nikko was perhaps the finest hotel I have ever stayed in!! EVERYTHING was exceptional! The staff was very courteous and helpful with us with navigating Japanese language. "I booked this hotel because a friend of mine recommended it based on its proximity to Kumamoto Castle. Boy was I surprised by how awesome this place was. Nice decor, large rooms (not Japanese roooms, regular sized rooms) with plenty of space and a comfortable bathroom. The property didn’t feel dated at all and the staff were all terrific.
