"Very clean and updated property. The staff were very professional and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing with a great selection of fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs. The dining area is literally an art museum. The shower was incredible. Everything was perfect. I would definitely stay here again."

"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast...

"This property is so beautiful and the food at the resturant was fantastic. Our only complaint was the spa, the sauna was great, but the hottub was lukewarm and there was so much chlorine it made our eyes burn and we had to get out almost immediately. Otherwise a perfect experience!"

"Lovely view. Offsite parking was inconvenient. Coffee at breakfast time was from a self serve machine. Some of the art and decorations were done very very cheaply. "

"First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! The halls and rooms were stunning. Old stone and iron everywhere. We stayed in the top room with the terrace. Oh man, I just can’t tell you how beautiful and fun this stay was.
