"The hotel was excellent, a 15min walk to our chosen restaurant Sicily on Sheffield Road and plenty of parking spaces. The twin bed was a bit narrow but we managed a comfortable night, made better by the blackout inner curtain and Aircon. Everywhere was clean and the staff were friendly and well trained to deliver."

"We had a nice stay. The room was good, fairly spacious and clean. Bed comfy. Room decor a bit tired and the separate toilet to bathroom was not great but ok. Bar area was good, food and drink affordable. The only let down really was the chap on reception when we arrived was totally minimal and seemed like he couldn't be bothered. He was not outright rude and he answered our questions but he offered no welcome or information. We had to ask him to tell us how to get to the room, he was not at...

"Stayed with wife & daughter, room spacious with 2 comfortable double beds & decent size bathroom. Didn’t use the spa so can’t comment, bar area was comfy with a terrace if you want to sit outside. Breakfast was lovely, lots on offer. Parking was easy, right next to the hotel. Discovered a bar/restaurant right on the quays below hotel which was lovely too"

The hotel could do with a bit of a makeover as our room ceiling looked like it had measles and there were scuffs on the walls, however everything in the room worked as it should. I was a little surprised that the TV wasn't a smart one and the room didn't have a safe, but these wouldn't have deterred me from booking. I must compliment the staff at reception and bar/lounge area who were all very cheerful and helpful and the 50 kwh eV charge point...
