"This is a great hotel. Everything is great including the room, the staff and the amenity. The only downside is that Uber drivers can not find this hotel easily as the Google map would direct them to a side door that is always closed, they have to take a big detour to find the way come into the hotel. It happens to all six of my Uber drivers."

Rio seems to have a love for the word Tijuca. Barra Tijuca is quite a bit away for major attractions so be aware that you'll be taking Uber quite a bit, however to balance this, the atmosphere is calmer, the beach is less busy and the local shops are cheaper "

"Great hotel in a great location - clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast was also great - weirdly they charge for coffee (Nespresso pods) they put in the room - rather put cheaper coffee in and don’t charge for it?"
