"A lovely clean fresh room. The Pub is a beautiful quaint typical English pub with beams in the ceilings and hops hung up everywhere. The room (accessed by outside paths - but every room has an umbrella for use). Room has everything you need. Tea, coffee, biscuits, soaps, shampoo etc. We took our dog and the 'dog pack' is a wonderful idea with treats, poop bag towel and cover to protect bedding (if your dog is inclined to sleep on your bed). "I booked this on behalf of a friend and they showed me around. It’s a fab mix of old-fashioned comfort and modern amenities and scrupulously clean. The bedroom (Judge Huddlestone) was enormous with a bathroom to match. Tea & coffee in the room but, if you want to be sociable, head for the living area where comfortable sofas, a (mock) log fire and even a chess board ready for play invites you to sit and relax.
