"Helpful team, with good service and a smile ! Accommodating and made you feel welcome. the building is older, which is cleaned well, but odd signs of being worn. Food at the Bistro was very tasty ! Will stay again. There is building work in the overflow car park, so parking is limited."

Hotel has been beautifully decorated. Lovely room with a patio. Very comfy bed and pillows. Unfortunately no robes and slippers in the room. And no hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels on. "

"Nice oldie worldie pub with rooms. Beautiful open beams and vintage style soft glow lighting add to a relaxed atmosphere. The room was a great size clean and comfortable. Its the kind of placebthat has creeky floor boards but you wouldnt expect it not to. Check in was easy and quick, as was check out. All staff friendly "

"Lovely stay on New Year’s Day after working the whole of Christmas. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was lovely and spacious with a comfortable bed and powerful shower. Informative booklet about the winery behind the pub in rooms with useful information about local walks etc. no problems at all "

"We chose the hotel as it is near Bewl water where our son was test-driving a new hovercraft for HoverAid. It was very convenient and we had a lovely room facing the golf course. W enjoyed our swim in the pool although sadly the floor in the tiny changing area was very wet and dirty - more matting is needed to allow you to walk over wet areas. Breakfasts were good, especially the full English, with plentof fruit , yoghurt etc in addition. The pancake with maple syrup was a pile of American...
