"Receptionist was very helpful I liked the more relaxed eating arrangements and food was good and hot and a good selection. Although i did not need it, the bathroom in assistance room would be better with a walk in shower. Great to have a bath. Plenty of room for both"

"Found by chance as needed somewhere to stay after visiting a Christmas Lights event. Under new management 3 weeks ago and undergoing refurbishment. The bar and restaurant gave been revamped and a cozy atmosphere and good food. The rooms are a little tired but a work in progress and have a lot of potential. The bed was comfy and the room was adequate for our stay. The breakfast was delicious abd a good choice on the menu Friendly and helpful staff and will definitely go back."

"No hot water in Delux Room. Mold on some of the grouting. Carpet in hallway very worn in front of window. "

"Lovely place, **very** friendly and professional staff and spotless rooms. The restaurant staff were top-notch, and on the night the food was excellent. I have not stopped talking to my friends about the chicken liver pate I had, that was superb. Breakfast was also extremely well cooked and presented, and to top it all up, the prices were reasonable. The free pool/spa/gym was the icing on the cake. My wife and I would certainly recommend it, and we will happily visit again. "

"Lovely room, boutique feel. Bed was huge and some great original features of the room retained and good location. Warm welcome on arrival. The downside was after booking i found that we had to check in by 530pm and there was no one on site after this time. Wouldn't put me off booking again though "

"We stayed the night. Nice clean and comfortable room. The food served in the pub was excellent and great value. Staff were super helpful. Perfectly situated for visiting wakehurst place - especially if you’re a park runner. They very kindly provided a later breakfast, which was delicious."
