"We stayed here the night before a cruise and it ended up being one of the best parts of our week long vacation! From the minute we arrived until our departure we felt cared for on so many levels. Each person we encountered was genuine and humble. Breakfast was phenomenal! We talked about taking a tip back all the way from Montana just to spend more time at Elsa's place. "The home offered beautiful views of the city, day and night. The location was great! It was only 1 block from St. Charles Street and another for the streetcar pick up. It was 2 or 3 blocks from The Pontchartrain Hotel which had a rooftop bar which gave an even more expansive view of the city. We walked many places, including the garden district, WWII Museum, the French Quarter and also delicious restaurants. The city was working on the street a few days while we were there, but it was tolerable...

"Some things were missed cleaning. On arrival there was an unflushed BM in the toilet making the house smell. They were quite apologetic and offered to send a housekeeper but it didn’t work with our schedule. The drains in the showers also didn’t seem well cleaned and a towel left was soured in the washer. The rest of the house felt clean and comfortable. It was a wonderfully historic feel and comfortable so overall I was happy with the stay and would just ask they inspect closer. "

The best part is this hotel is filled with unique and interesting decor that makes it a truly memorable experience."
