"The property was in a great location in the Garden District. Within walking distance to restaurants on St. Charles and within a 15 minute walk to magazine Street where there’s more restaurants and shops. Within 30 minute walk to the stadiums, we did walk at night and felt safe. If homelessness does bother you, just be aware homelessness does exist there and it’s gonna be everywhere you go in the city. Garden district is absolutely beautiful, but you will find it there as well. We had no issues but understanding it can be triggering for some. See which down the street was amazing for food along with Lula’s. Mr. Ed’s down the street has the best po boys. The trolley is easily accessible. Just be aware. The weight is usually long but super cost-effective if you go on and buy a jazzy pass. Hotel was wonderful, the staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations. Free parking was a bonus! It looks like there was a restaurant inside the hotel at one point, but there is no longer one. Would’ve been nice if it was up and running as a convenient option, but there is always a cute café right down the street that has a great breakfast and coffee for breakfast in the morning within 30 feet of the building. And also the walls are super thin. If you do end up with somebody next to you, you typically can hear them talking. But Would definitely stay here again based on location and staff!"

"My son and I made an impromptu trip from Chicago and took a drive down to see a prospective college. Long story short, the first last minute hotel I booked was trash and I found the Marsh Hotel on Expedia. The Marsh Hotel is amazing! From the decor and cleanliness, to the location, to the personable and helpful staff, I was pleasantly surprised! The onsite bar and cute seating areas/patio was my favorite part! The bartender has an amazing pour and was so nice and helpful when I asked for food recommendations. This will be my go to spot for any future trips to New Orleans!"

"A very comfortable hotel with a unique New Orleans flavor. The staff people were professional and friendly. Our dog was welcomed but there is a pet fee."
