The area of the beach is a busy area with many of the small boats boarding passengers arriving/departing for day trips. If you intend to visit the Tortoise Sanctuary on prison island, you couldn’t be better located. The Freddie Mercury museum is also a 2 min walk away. "This property itself was beautiful. Our room had two stories, and our room upstairs opened up to the restaurant, and the beautiful rooftop view. The staff here were so nice and helped us to plan everything we wanted to do. Also, the location of this place is very convenient, very close and walkable distance to the night food market, and different historic locations in Stonetown. We loved our stay here and will definitely go back. Only complaint we had was that the drain in the shower went down...

"We were super happy with our stay at Tembo Palace, we could use the facilities at both hotels, close to everything 5 minutes walk away from the night market. The hotel is on the beach front which is perfect, restaurant and drinks was great and staff were really efficient and friendly. Breakfast was great, buffet and omelettes/waffles made on request.
