Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"We were a bit sceptical about the resort at first due to previous reviews. However it was a great 10 day stay for us. The food was lovely, couldn’t get enough of the prawns. The room with the sea view was amazing. The staff were great, thank you Maria you made our stay very comfortable. If you need some where close to the airport and 5min away from Stone town then I recommend Zanzibar beach resort. "

"John at reception was AMAZING!! He was so friendly and attentive - he organized my rides and activities for me. I chose to stay in the rooms with AC and not the bungalow type rooms because it would have been to hot for me. The shower pressure isn't the greatest in my room. The hotel is directly on the beach and they have plenty of sun beds with umbrella shades. I wasn't a big fan of the food/drinks at the restaurant though but the staff was amazingly friendly. Would stay here again!"

"The hotel is very new next to the new stadium sports complex which is one year old. There was some problems with the shower door and safe but the staff quickly moved us to another room. Breakfast and room service were very good. The shower has excellent strong water pressure and air cons work very well. You have to get a taxi into the centre of stone town which will cost you USD15 each way, but it is worth for the convenience of being away from the hustle and bustle - it was peaceful. "
