"It of course can't compete in facilities that the big resort hotels provide but it was a very pleasant place to stay - large rooms relatively recently renovated, with a balcony, a small elevated pool, a good restaurant, pleasant staff, and close to the nicely landscaped Harmony Beach which has security to regulate entrance. The flavor and presentation of the food is very subpar. For all things considered, Sandy Haven is a great location, reasonably priced and safe. "The only thing I didn’t like about the resort was getting our room. We paid extra for a beach front room and they gave us a room where we could not even see the beach and the same for the couple we were with. They did give us a room where we could see part of the beach which we were happy with after we complained and the same with the couple that was with us. When you have to complain the first day is no way to start a vacation!"
