"Had a family birthday there, some of us stayed the night and all had an evening meal in the restaurant. It was great to be able sit together and relax in the bar after the meal. Buffet breakfast was good as well. "

All staff from the reception,spa and breakfast were professional, friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well kept with nice seating areas to relax and enjoy the views. The spa is small, however they are up grading this and im sure it will be amazing once completed."

"Lovely welcome from Madison in reception who understands what hospitality should be and tries very hard (and succeeds!) in providing it. Stayed in a junior suite which was clean, comfortable, quiet and perfect for our needs. Will have no hesitation in returning. "

"We were incredibly well looked after by all the staff we met there. We had told them my husband had mobility issues and we had a room just nearby reception and the dining area, making access really easy. They had also given us a room with 2 comfy chairs which myself, and especially my husband, really appreciated after travelling. There was a great selection of choices at breakfast, with staff replacing items as soon as they were needed. The Mercure is a great base to explore the local area, we were able to really rest and relax. We will definitely be visiting again!"
