"This is an excellent pub. The service was exceptional, the food was very good and the ambience and atmosphere fantastic. This is a characterful old building with lots of books and crannies. Good beer too. The accommodation is good - a little like motel accommodation at the back of the pub in separate purpose-built buildings. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. Would definitely return. "

"Great stay for an overnight shopping trip. My 2nd stay here, last time was December 2023. Plenty of parking, friendly check in. Room was spacious and perfectly acceptable with a fab view over fields and lovely Dove toiletries in the bathroom. Full length mirror outside of bathroom door, if anything lighting could be better in room. Sufficient tea/coffee making, really comfy beds. We changed our dining plans last minute and ate in hotel.
