"My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway. This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs...

"Very cosy and warm, steep steps up to room and parking a few minutes walk away. A wonderful view to wake up to overlooking the river Medway. No breakfast inc and it’s not clear reading the other reviews, I think it’s overpriced without breakfast. We enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. If you are a light sleeper noisy traffic in the background also. The host was friendly. "

"A beautiful property. Owner Carole was very welcoming. The room was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Very large and comfortable bed. The owners own the pub down the road which serves good food with very generous portions."

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"We had a wonderful stay in the Pavillion at Brunger House. The location is fantastic for Tenterden and other nearby spots (eg Chapel Down) and the cottage itself is superbly kitted out to a very high standard. Add to that the excellent hosts and oh so thoughtful little touches, and I’ve no hesitation in thoroughly recommending it to anyone looking for a fantastic self catering away break."

"Booked this place and first impression was its a building site I was then asked for £100 cash damage deposit i dont carry that amount with me and not many people do I offered to put it on my card and was told they dont have a card machine Come on no card machine...joke The manager then said he would hold on to my driving licence..erm no thanks thats my ID and im not leaving it with anyone It was agreed that i wouldnt stay so i left and contacted Hotels.com to refund my payment Nothing...
