"We were a little divided over this hotel. Being a glass half full type, I was prepared to overlook the work going on and the noise it created up until 10.30pm, plus one or two other little bits and pieces. The room was a delight (we were upgraded) and the staff were lovely. The breakfast was a bit disappointing - I’d expect a much better coffee machine with a multiple of options in this day and age. However, the food was good. The location was excellent, I must say. I’d certainly stay there...

"We would have rated this as excellent except the air conditioning had not yet been turned on this week and the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There were a couple of other issues regarding the lack of handrails on steps and in bath but otherwise this was a beautiful hotel with a great location, wonderful staff and a beautiful roof terrace with pool and bar. "

If you're a shy person a see through bathrooms may not be ideal, little kettle and coffee station in the room would be nice but there's a coffee shop at the ground floor. The space was very clean and well looked after. "
