"A wonderful family stay over night ahead of a visit to Alton Towers. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff were excellent. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful and friendly with the children. As a football fan it was great to walk the grounds and see the amazing facilities 1st hand. It added an extra layer to the stay for me. Would definitely recommend"

"Hotel was okay apart from the latch on the bedroom door being faulty. A little distressed about it as it was the day I checked in. I locked the door ready to settle down for the evening, but remembered that I had left something in my car. As I tried to exit the room the latch was stuck and had to phone reception who sent someone to break me out. The saving grace is that I needed to leave the room and that it did not happen during a fire! They did move me to another room unfortuantely it felt...
