It was once a stunning eco resort covered with tropical plants and beautiful 'bungalows' nestled into a secluded tropical cove. "This was our first time visiting St. Croix and we can’t wait to come back! The staff at The Buccaneer were all amazing. We felt very welcome and cared for during our entire stay. You pretty much have everything you need on the resort, but we had a great time exploring other parts of the island. We were able to arrange taxis directly thru the hotel to get us to dinners and excursions. So glad we chose The Buccaneer for our vacation!"

"The view is spectacular! The ground floor apartment is directly at the oceans edge with a large patio. That being said, there are no lounge chairs and the furniture that they do have is not ocean worthy. They need to upgrade. The apartment itself is good enough as a base but should be scrubbed clean. Pots and pans dirty, shower in spare bathroom was rusting, etc. We needed the electrician, and he came in a day to fix the Stove/Oven. So, two thumbs up for communication. "Close to beach. Seaweed a problem but taken care of daily if not creates an odor. Few bugs taken care of by the exterminator. Roaches. Was told this condo had been closed up. S Overall the stay was nice."
