The hotel is beautiful inside, with lovely dining areas serving excellent food, friendly and helpful staff, a lovely spa and swimming pool, and nicely decorated bedrooms. The hotel is also dog-friendly. The Windermere cruises depart from outside the hotel, and it is also a short walk across the car park to the Lakeside Aquarium and Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway."

"We stayed for two nights, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice with everything that you could need, great tea tray, lovely toiletries etc. very comfortable bed, good lighting and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking too and in a great location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative issue was a thoughtless guest on our final night who played the TV very loudly and had no regard for other guests."
