"Although this was more than walking distance from city of Ponta Delgada it still was close enough to drive, bus, etc. There were shopping and dining options in and near the hotel. Staff at front desk and bar were great, and we enjoyed it here for our last day before our flight, and drove to city after check out before we flew home in the afternoon."

"We rented a 1 bedroom apartment which was spacious and had a living room, small kitchen and separate bedroom/bathroom area. Small balcony with chairs. Hotel has nice indoor heated pool, gym, game room and restaurant. Beautiful landscape. Staff friendly, helpful and efficient. Abundant free parking. "What a unique and wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, airy and bright. The staff is great, particularly Diego, who went out of his way to be helpful in a number of ways. Great guy - personable, professional and sincere. The house is close to many restaurants. Easily walkable. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult, but not a game changer. I’d stay there again. "
