"Room was clean, staff were friendly, food was decent. My supply of coffee was topped up with extra sachets when the staff saw that I'd bought my own jar of coffee after I ran out. The atmosphere of the hotel is pleasant and cosy. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre, which makes it cheaper than more central places - but if you can't stand a five-minute walk, what are you doing in Betws-y-Coed? :)"

"We had a lovely stay at TheRoyal Oak. Staff are very friendly. The rooms were kept very clean and fresh towels every day. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was excellent. All in all it was a great stay."

"Lodges are beautiful and in a lovely location/grounds. Parking at each lodge outside. Clean and tidy and in very good condition. We only stayed one night but would love to come back and stay longer again "

However, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was fantastic, the bed was super comfortable and the service was outstanding. The room was delightful too, although I was upgraded which was amazing. "

"We had a nice stay at this hotel; friendly staff, nice food, good sized bedroom and lovely views. We had a standard turret bedroom and whilst it was spacious, the en suite was really small and felt like a shower had been squeezed into a room that used to be a toilet room. There was no space to swing an earwig let alone a cat! The toilet had a cigarette burn on it and the lid on the plastic cistern didn’t fit on the tank. There were no towel rails and no comfortable space to get dry after a...
