The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "Quaint little cottage in the lovely quiet hamlet of Cwm Penmachno. There are amazing views from the cottage across the valley. We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley.
