"Place was up to date, well maintained. It was far from the beaches where I usually stay. But I didn’t plan on any beaches my 3 days I spent here. Only complaint is my room had an awesome view of the lake but, there was a loose manhole cover in the road that I heard cars hitting all night. I couldn’t figure out where the noise was coming from until my last night. Not hotels fault but lost a lot of sleep from it. Overall hotel was great."

"We had a fantastic stay at Rio Othon. We were there over carnaval, which means it was beyond busy, and yet we felt like the staff cared about the few issues we had and worked quickly to resolve them. We definitely recommend this hotel & plan to be back."

"Great hotel in a great location - clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast was also great - weirdly they charge for coffee (Nespresso pods) they put in the room - rather put cheaper coffee in and don’t charge for it?"
