"Excellent location very close to the walled city and with easy included parking. Easy check-in in an attractive lobby. Well appointed comfortable rooms complete with slippers and robes. Openable Windows, comfortable bed and pillows. However in our room, and especially in our bathroom, the lighting was poor and needs improvement. "We had an excellent 1 night stay at Sowell Le Chevaliers. The staff was very patient during our check in. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Carcassonne. The room was clean and nicely appointed with a walkout spacious terrace. We wish we could have stayed another night. The view we had of the walled city and overlooking the river (with bird activity) was a treat."

"Perfect location close to the gates of the walled city. Easy parking once the system is explained. Enter the public car park gates at the front of hotel, park and walk to reception where the correct tickets can be obtained for parking. 15€ per night charge. "Travelling through France & stayed here for a night. A wonderful place to stay, we had a little villa all to ourselves. Spotlessly clean, comfortable & issues with a lock quickly remedied. Local restaurants were closed on Monday but an Intermarché nearby ensured we had everything needed to cook a meal. If you can’t find the cutlery, check the not very obvious drawers in the kitchen table! We didn’t avail of the outside pool but the kids next door certainly did & enjoyed it. I would definitely...
