"The medieval city of Carcossonne is amazing, like stepping back in time, and staying at the Hotel De La Cite just contributes to this feeling (although only build in 1880's). A grand, imposing building directly opposite the Basilicca puts it at the heart of the old city. "I recently stumbled upon this hotel on our trip across France with my 3 children and we had such a wonderful stay that we will most definitely stay here again on future trips to France. I only wish we could have stayed longer. It has a quiet, calm atmosphere but is super family friendly. I have 3 boys so the pool and the foozball table were huge plusses!
