"Friendly welcoming efficient staff. Rooms good size with most things in place. No soap at sink although fixed above bath/ shower. Good breakfast selection. The hot buffet selection was slightly awkward as containers had lids that had to be lifted all the way in order to access food and one needed to lean over . Rotating them would allow side access and easier to lift without my hairy jumper flopping into the scrambled egg. Short people would find it a challenge. "

"We received a btight cheery welcome with some helpful advice on nearby eating options. The upgrade room was spacious and comfortable with great views. Unfortunately there was a problem with lack of heating, hiwever a portable heater supplied from reception solved the problem. Breakfast was excellent with some quality elements to choose from."

"I believe this room was an upgrade from my previous stay. Slightly more spacious with a bigger more recently refurbished bathroom. But no power to the comfortable reclining chair and a dodgy tv controller. Breakfast was partial self service but the cooked food direct from the kitchen wasn’t hot and freshly prepared. Whole stay was excellent value though. Great location close to the M6 service station and EV charging very close."
