"The rooms are very nice, comfy and stylish. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is well appointed with a great shower. There wasn't air conditioning in my room which did make it a little warm but not unbearable. I would recommend to others"

"I had a really great stay at the Baseler Hof. It is in a central location, about 200 yards from the U bahn stop and a great place to base yourself while exploring Hamburg. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, my room was really clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good too, friendly staff and great food. I would definitely stay here if I come to Hamburg again."

"We had a great stay at the Novotel Alster. It was our first visit to Hamburg. The hotel was clean and always smelt lovely. The staff were nice and everything requested was brought up straight away. The breakfast offering was fresh and lovely and I really liked the fresh lemon and ginger tea bar. You are on the door step of the under/overground which was fantastic and about 12 minutes away from the gorgeous town centre. I had no issues and look forward to coming and staying here again. "Lovely room, very roomy, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff helped us more than once when we had trouble figuring out the lights in our room. Wait staff in restaurant were friendly and helped us get a good seat, when they saw how short I was, so I wouldn't have to climb into a high table seating."
