"The appartments were actually called the "Makro Appartments". They were fairly new, in great condition, comfortable and very clean. Train station right next door which was very convenient but still quiet (triple glazed windows). I'd definitely stay here again - perfect for travelling with children."

"We met up with friends in Hamburg and were thankful to find a property with sufficient rooms and 1.5 bathrooms located close to the Hamburg City Center. The property was as described. The layout is a bit funky with glass panels giving visibility into some rooms, the restroom windows going out to the walkthrough and one room having no windows at all. I would venture to say that the space wasn’t originally intended as an apartment. None of this was a deal breaker though and we would return. There...

"Sehr sympathische Gastgeber! Tolle Wohnung direkt vor den Toren Lüneburgs, verkehrsgünstig und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Mit dem Bus ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten direkt in der Altstadt. Die Wohnung bietet auch Reisegruppen mit 6 Personen ausreichend Platz, genug Sitzgelegenheiten, drei vollwertige Schlafzimmer sowie eine Ausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt und nicht „auf Kante“ genäht ist. "Such a pleasant stay at this beautiful apartment in a great location! Nina was very helpful and the apartment had everything we needed to make our stay in Hamburg perfect. There is even a washing machine which was a wonderful surprise which we took advantage of to keep us going on our trip! It is bright, spacious and very clean perfect for a couple, a family or more. It is an old building so sounds traveled between apartments but it was still very pleasant and a wonderful stay!"

"We stayed for a week. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable and had nice views. It is only 200m walk to the U-Bahn station and about 1.3km to the city centre. So it was a great base from which to explore the city. Hafen Stadt is fairly quiet and and there isn't much traffic compared to other parts of the city which we liked. We would recommend it and stay there again."

"Great stay, would definitely stay again. Only 5 minutes walk away from Schlump metro station. On a beautiful tree lined street. Very quiet. Slept so well on the cosy bed. Wonderful deep bath with plenty of hot water to soak in after a day's sightseeing. Really good kitchen, well equipped for all your cooking needs. Nice living room to chill in and a wonderful garden to sit out in . Totally recommend."

"Last review was from 2020. Unfortunately time has not helped. In May 2024 we encountered serious mold smell as we entered the apartment building, extending to the apartment. We had a serious allergic reaction to the mold and could not stay in the apartment. We left without unpacking and booked another hotel elsewhere. Neither the Owner nor Expedia through which we booked would refund the rental cost even though the apartment was uninhabitable to us."
