"Despite being part-way through a huge refurb, our stay was super! The hotel is elegant and stylish with comfortable beds and pillows. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and as it was my partner’s birthday, they left us a very welcome treat of chocs mini macarons as well as a complimentary glass of fizz. "My wife and i stayed for 2 nights for our sons wedding. All i can say is that the staff were out of this world. We travelled a long way with a wedding cake in the car, and we had a disaster... it toppled. When we arrived late on the evening, the night shift could not have been more helpful. They gave us some bits to attempt to rebuild.... but we are no bakers. They put our cake in the fridge for us to attempt after some much needed sleep.
