"The property is far from town, so the taxi cost added up. The beach was ok but not as good as the hotels closer to town. The massages by Denise and Jesus were the very best ever"

"We loved our stayed at AWA. all the staff members were very friendly and willing to help with any request. The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool at ground level. The rooftop has an amazing view of the island and is great to have a drink at the bar there or swim while watching the sunset. "I enjoyed the location of this hotel, very walkable to downtown but just far enough to be quiet from the downtown parties. The only slight downfall for the hotel is kids noise level in the morning at the pool. Our room was very close to the pool and it sounded like they were in our room."

"Very nice place to stay. Room was exactly as pictured and comfortable, outdoor seating was bigger than expected. Staff was helpful and friendly. Convenient set up. Breakfast included was a nice perk! And it's a quick walk to the Holbox Refugio to get your dog-fix and walk dogs while on vacation! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely modern boutique hotel with very friendly staff. The location was a little remote, about 30min walk to the central part of Holbox. The room was spacious but we could hear our neighbours at night... The breakfast was small - additional items (avo toast, espresso etc) were charged extra. "

"Great property !! Excellent staff , staff made the stay so much better . Water issues were a problem but other than that it was great and will be going back . Restaurant staff are awesome !!! Without out them it would not be the same "

"We loved our stayed at AWA. all the staff members were very friendly and willing to help with any request. The hotel is beautiful. We enjoyed the pool at ground level. The rooftop has an amazing view of the island and is great to have a drink at the bar there or swim while watching the sunset. The food at the beachfront restaurant Fuego is delicious,we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner once during the stay. We loved every dish, drink and cocktail we ordered. Just be aware that the food is a bit pricey, but nothing too far from the average in the island. The room was clean and confortable. We felt it was quite and safe at the property. The hotel is around 20 minutes walking from the main town area where all restaurants and shops are. For us it wasn't a deal breaker and we walk there several times each day. However it can be a bit much for some people and taking a taxi every time could be a bit expensive. The only downside is that around the hotel there are some lots where there is a it of trash. Thus is not the hotel's fault but it does influence the perception of guests. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for someone that likes to be a bit more secluded from everything around downtown. "

On top of that, the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, which made our vacation even more relaxing and enjoyable. We truly have no complaints. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!"
