"10/10 - The Plough is an amazing pub/tavern and hotel! Room was plush, cozy and well appointed. Beds and pillows were comfy! Food was yummy, beer was good and people were incredible. Easy to park!"

"We had booked a twin room, however on the day of arrival the owner has painted the room, so we ended up both been put in double rooms. The rooms we stayed in were very clean, offered tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite. "

"Awesome location as it is next to the Whitby Abbey. Location is reachable if you are driving. If you arrive by train, be prepared to walk more than the 199 steps up to the Abbey. One downside is lockers are not available in the rooms to secure your belongings whilst you are out and about."

"I stayed for one night at The Cordelia as a solo traveller, and chose this hotel as it was conveniently located and looked great in the photos. I was not disappointed! From the moment I arrived, Rebecca was most welcoming. I was given a dis for the car parking on the road and was shown to my room which was warm and cosy with lovely decoration and a homely touch. "A great customer service from the confirmation of the booking to leaving. All staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and spacious. I think it was the little touches such as Zed coming round at breakfast time checking in with everyone that they are ok. "

"Decent enough place to stay. Showing it's age in places but overall clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Easy to check in, and I set off early the following morning - leaving the keys in the box in the hallway. Very convenient for the town centre and seafront if you don't mind a few minutes walk. Variety of restaurants nearby, even before you reach the town centre."
