"The hotel is lovely. Stayed in a junior suite which was magnificent....very large, super clean, very comfortable bed and a view of the Alhambra out the window. The only knock on the hotel is that if you are on the second floor you'll have to carry your luggage up and down the stairs as there is no elevator. It's a small price to pay to stay at this gem. "The location is nicely situated next to the slopes and convenient for people who want to enjoy winter sports. Hotel also has its own parking onsite with free valet. The balcony overlooked the slopes but it would’ve been nice to have chairs out there to sit and enjoy the sun. It’s hard to justify paying steep prices to stay here because it feels as though you don’t get anything back for what you paid, unfortunately. Our room was incredibly dry and hot and there was nothing we could do except open...

"At no time was the reception manned and we needed to ring a bell or shout "hello". There was no information on breakfast and almost no guests. The hotel has a nice facade but is dark inside and there is next to no activities. To access the pool we were led through a garage and the pool was not clean. There were five sunbeds in a shape that was very bad. The person in the reception was kind and nice, but did not speak any English and as mentioned had to be called from somewhere inside the hotel....

"The hotel is in a beautiful location. The staff is very helpful, they went above and beyond. Language is an issue, but it is Spain and we all should try to speak the native tongue. The dinners and breakfasts were very tasty. The hotel caters to an older crowd, this should not disuade anyone. This hotel and its' staff were one of the highlights of my trip through Spain. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the spa is quite lovely."

"When we arrived we were informed the hotel we made a reservation in, Cobertizo Palacio de Santa Inez, closed. They were accommodating in providing a nice room at the Rosa d’Oro a different property owned by the same company. It was a nice room but half the size of the room we reserved."
