"Hotel was very close to Alhambra, which is what we wanted. However, it was a bit far from services, so if you wanted choices of dining, groceries, gifts, you needed to walk about half an hour. Overall, the hotel is nice. "

"Very nice hotel. Right in the middle of everything. Difficult to get to with a car, but that's true for any hotel in the area. But they have a parking garage, at cost. A ground level room was all we could get because we booked late and it was a busy weekend, so it was a bit dark. But if you are in the city you don't spendmuch time in the room anyways. "

"The rooms are very basic. The hotel is located just outside the older moorish district. Breakfast was above basic but not a total buffet. However for 11 euros it was a good deal to get the day going. The team didn’t seem to know the neighborhood when asking them for suggestions. But they were polite. "

"I thought the capsule room idea was clever for a few nights and it is definitely a fun novelty versus a traditional shared dormitory bunk bed situation. The problem here is with the cleanliness. The capsule itself was disgusting. There was gum stuck to the side, smears on the walls and mirror and so much dirt and debris in the door’s sliding mechanism that it was clear they were not cleaned for a very long time. "Absolutely loved the room. Very comfortable, nice surprise of a small fridge and a safe. Small disappointment there was no in room coffee/tea machine. Also no English language options at all on tv even for Paramount or American made movies. Reception and gastropub bar staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Everyone was so helpful from the front desk to the servers at breakfast. Fabulous location. Truly steps away from the Alhambra entrance. Very tranquil and nicely finished. Beautiful and safe walk down into town - nature filled locarion. I will be back!! "

"Stayed at inside plaza for 6 nights, we booked a studio room but were given apartment 34 which had a separate sleeping area which was lovely. Comfy beds and nice sitting area and the location was perfect. Short walk in ski boots to both lifts and right in the heart of town. Supplied with cleaning products , soap and shower gel so the only thing we needed were more toilet rolls. We usually stay at the Melia but thought we would try an apartment and please we did. Absolutely Fabulous!

"I benchmark a 5 star experience against chains like the Peninsula. This was a total surprise. Ski weekend and this hotel is perfect. The staff is all in sync and have consistent, excellent professionalism and are just nice people. So many conveniences here for skiers. Right at a chair lift. On site ski rental. Parking. Shuttle. I actually liked the hotel food!!! Nice bar. It really surprised me. The only thing i could possibly critique is the room.doors are not totally soundproof but we didnt have any problems. Will stay again."

"The staff was very friendly and provided useful information about the area when we checked in. Having driven to the city, we parked at one of the recommended parking garages and took a cab to the hotel. Staying in the historical building was amazing! It’s definitely not an experience for someone expecting a new 5 star hotel. Plenty of noises from the street and from other rooms. For us, this was part of the charm and enhanced our adventure. When we opted to stay for a second night in Granada, the hotel was fully booked but was able to accommodate us in their apartment for a very reasonable rate. They moved our luggage for us while we were at the Alhambra and provided another excellent experience. If we come back to the city, I’ll check out their apartment as it’s more of our style. At the end of the night, my wife and I enjoyed sitting on the roof top terrace with our drinks and relaxed with a view of the Alhambra. "
