"We stayed recently to celebrate two important events, and our experience at this hotel made everything perfect! We could have sat forever watching the coaly Tyne from the 5th floor. The staff in particular were magnificent in every way - we couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll be returning as soon as possible. Thank you!"

Only fault was my Mum broke her toe as they hadn’t put the bed fully together and she hadn’t noticed until she tripped on it and her toe is now broke lol. But apart from that the stay was good. "

"Lovely staff, especially the Irish waitress in the mornings (didn’t catch her name) great location. Decor is wonderful. One criticism would be that the safe in the rooms are too low, when you are of a certain age it becomes a bit of a problem having to get on all fours to use it"
