"We arrived far too early for check in but the staff still tried to find us a room. This wasn’t necessary as we were planning to explore the city. But as soon as we arrived the lobby, reception, and restaurant were all very well maintained and decorated charmingly for the Christmas period. "Room was super clean and spacious. Ned comfortable. Only negative was that the lights on the heaters glow so brightly that room wasnt dark and that kept waking me up. Seating area near bar is tired and could do with upholstering and the floor was littered and untidy, however the rest of the hotel was clean and tidy. We have stayed here several times and give it a thumbs up, its not 5 star but it isstill a lovely hotel and very good value for money."

"What a fantastic place to stay in central Manchester ! The hotel was super comfortable, spacious and relaxed. Spotlessly clean and the breakfast had so much choice and was excellent all round. However, by far the standout part of our stay at The Alan was…….the staff. "Great location! Super close to the train station at Piccadilly Manchester. Easy to find and in a beautiful building. My only comment would be that the rooms feels a little rough. "Exceeded all expectations- beautiful property, cosy room, excellent amenities and a very nice breakfast. Bed was comfy and blackout curtains ensured we had a very pleasant sleep. Staff were super helpful, very friendly and we breezed through our check-in in about 5 mins. It took us about 10/15 mins to walk into the city centre, so location is also great. I want to make a note of saying I stayed here with a friend, and as 2 young, female travellers, we never once felt unsafe/scared/threatened...

The food in the uk always is an extra mile compare to the Europe one, but the facilities are slightly better in Europe. Big thanks to the holiday in staff for making such a pleasant experience.
