"We stayed there one night and had to leave early the next morning to catch our flight. It was convenient and close to terminal 3 which is where our American Airlines flight was. It was only around 6 pounds per person to use the hotel shuttle and the shuttle left every 30 minutes. The bed was very comfortable."

The neighborhood (East London) is interesting but it took me a while to grasp that it is the oldest settled part of the city, at least going back to the Romans. Of course, the Tower of London (really a castle, so it’s misleadingly named) is right at the doorstep, along with an Underground station with two train lines.
